Caravelle Sandal in Dune . K Jacques

I want! I want! I NEED! I NEED!

Caravelle Sandal in Dune . K Jacques

Honestly, you have no idea how long I have been searching for the perfect snake skin.  I have concluded that I need this pattern in sandal form.  Just a dab 'll do ya.  Like the point of an exclamation mark perfect.  But, as you can imagine my luck and the evil intentions of my Mister these masterpieces are sold out everywhere { Why is this happening to me?! }.  Are they from last season? I swear I could kiss whoever was able to find them for me.  In my size: 8.5 / 9.  I know...I know. Cinderella complex.

Patent Tip Oxford . Rag & Bone

Now, I just was never able to get into the whole men's shoe trend, no matter how hard I tried.  But, I will tell you this....were I ever to get a pair they would be these:

Available on Gilt Group

And here is why:  Remember I disclosed about my long appearing feet. Well men's shoes do not look good on feet that are not dainty.  But these, these have a less structured body which hug your feet making the masculine shoe trend just feminine enough without losing the whole manly point.  They were on sale at Gilt Group { genius name by the way } a while back but I trust that your internet searching skills wont fail you now, should you really want these.  Good luck out there!

I confess.  I did this to myself.

And also these, because they are on super-duper sale and look kind of like these.

PURCHASE PROFESSION FRIDAY

Now ladies, I don't know if you have discovered the power of shopping on Amazon yet or not { I mean, it was first introduced to me when I met my Mister, so really he should blame himself  and not me for this post purchase }, but it is, to say the least, AH! MAZE! ING! Really.  And, if you sign up for Amazon Prime you get free 2 day shipping.  I have already turned my girlfriends onto this.  But, I digress.

The point of telling you all of this is that I got these babies on major sale and I tell you they are, in a word, perfect! I had been pining over them every time I walked into Bloomies.  I finally broke down and did a little internet search on my own and that is when I found that they were practically paying me to take them off of their hands.

They are intimidatingly high yet surprisingly easy to walk in.  Kid you not.  And at that steal of a price, I splurged on the red. I plan to wear them on my next date, which inevitably means walking five blocks { at the very least } to the subway.  I swear to the shoe gods I will be able to keep up with my Mister without a hitch in my high-heeled-giddy-up or breaking a sweat for that matter { both of which have happened a time or two }.

Wayup Over the Knee Suede Boots . Stuart Weitzman

Have you started hearting things on Shopbop? If not then you should.  It's a great tool to keep your eye on the pieces you are lusting over.  And, when they go on sale you get a helpful little email alerting you.  Love.

I have had my eyes on these boots and watched them go on sale from 30 percent to 50 percent and now 70 percent off.  Down from $600+ these boots are a steal! And my size has been holding strong in stock.  Isn't that a sign?  I need a pair of high heeled boots.  I only have flats.  If it weren't for promising my Mister that I would seriously stop shopping when I bought these, they would already be on their way.  It's such a good deal, they really should be!

PURCHASE PROFESSION FRIDAY

While visiting Los Angeles last month I also visited my mecca. Ever since moving to NYC I have been deprived. My Mister and I checked out the new Nordstrom on the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica and picked myself up a little amazing souvenir. My Mister will claim temporary insanity but to my utter shock and incredible justification skills { sometimes I even surprise myself } he didn't totally put the kibosh on my purchase.

Could have been his vacation brain or the fact that I was reminiscing about out h-moon in Italy { where all the ladies wore wedges at night so their heels didn't get caught in the cobble stone streets }. Either way, I am totally talented
wearing these right now in my uncomfortably un-modest bikini and when we go back to Italy { some day }.

Palermo Sandal . Jimmy Choo
Purchased at Nordstrom
P.S. I went up a half size in these and I also had several of the straps taken in by a cobbler { I have narrow feet which makes it hard to wear strappy shoes and worse, is a visual mind f***. My feet appear WAY longer than they are. Black flats, the worst. Just saying. }

Open-Toe Platform Sandal . Fendi

And in the same haze of the Kelly shoe search these also found me. That's right people, expensive beautiful things just have a way of finding me. Not to be confused with me finding them.

Available at Neiman Marcus

Cutout Slingback Sandal . Prada

You all are as obsessed with Kelly Ripa as I am right? Don't answer that.

Well she has this amazing pair of dusty violet Fendi shoes and in my haze of a search for them I came across these beautes. Oh, and aren't they?

Available at Neiman Marcus

Suede Platform Bootie . Miu Miu

These are the perfect bootie and you want to know why?

Booties are for the fall/winter season and so is suede. Rationally I would only own one pair of booties { these } but since this is my ultimate closet rational thinking need not apply. But here is the real kicker...they are low cut at the front of the ankle. I have come to find that this hard to find detail helps to make my calf-less leg less chicken like.
